Okay, so another thing wrong with the car is that the lift up Plastic trays with the cup holes in are broken (I guess the previous owners kids were a bit heavy handed)
Anyway the spring bit is fine but some of the plastic that keeps the spring attached to the tray is snapped off on both.
I have had a look & they are riveted on rather than screwed on (screwed would have made a Lot more sense IMO) but it looks like the tray itself could also possibly unclip from the bit that is riveted on, but don't want to force it too much.
Anyone ever change one & if so do they unclip, or is the only option to drill out the rivets??
And if so is it just a case of pop riveting them back on??
