Kangoo 1.6 16v auto dash 'frozen'

Hi, I am having problems with the dash on my Kangoo. Every so often the instrument lights stop working on the dash and also the speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge have frozen at the last data they displayed. Does anybody know of a fix for this problem?
