I am new to this forum so hello and hopefully some king people may help me with my car that needs tlc!!
I have a problem with the heating system on my 2004 grand scenic 1.9dci. I am not getting hot air through or at best its sometimes maybe just lukewarm. Its not the thermostat as that has been removed to eliminate. Even when sat on the drive and allowing the engine to get upto temperature the blowers blow cold. I have been having a read on the forum and wondered if it could be the heater vent gate being stuck not allowing airflow over the matrix?
Sometimes in the past when I have gone round a corner the heating went cold so maybe the flaps to direct the airflow over the matrix do have a problem?
Does anyone know how can I check if I am getting airflow over the heater matrix? Im not actually sure where the heater matrix is but am good at following instructions. Any help to get me going would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Laura :-)
