Electronic fault

On positive post of battery is a red box with three terminals in it. (Or should be)
Terminals are actually fuses and prone to corrosion and poor connections.
Can give the symptoms you describe.
Clean up, make sure battery is decent and try again.

Is it turning over but not firing?
Not turning over?
What is immobiliser light doing?
Any issues when it has run?
