Battery warning and Stop light on the dashboard everytime I turn on

Hello everyone,

I have Renault Clio MK2 2004 1.2. It has started to playing up for couple of weeks now. Just after we have our first chilly night the battery went flat in the morning. So I bought the jump starter for my car (which does not require another car to jump start). I charged it up over night and car started fine but the problem is I need to jump start the car every time I tuen the ignition off. Whenever I turn on the ignition it shown battery warning light on the dashboard. Once the car is on I can use heater and radio without any problem. On some occasion I can restart the car without jump start. I am little confused whether it is a problem with Alternator or Battery or something else.
