Trafic suddenly died. No electrics

So I'm driving along everything is fine then suddenly with no warnings the engine just cuts out, the lights go off, the dash goes off. Everything stops.

Only things that work are the hazard warning lights, the remote door locks, and there is a flashing red light on dash. Everything else is dead.

AA guy came out and didn't know what it was. Recovered me back home.

What could the problem be ?
