2005 Renault Clio Stereo Replacement

Hi all, wondering if anybody with experience in doing so could shed some light.

I'd like to replace the stereo unit in my clio with a new unit with an aux input. It currently has an aftermarket Pioneer unit in it, so how involved of a job is it?

Is it a case of plug and go or will there be any need for adapters etc???
