Have been having problems with my wifes 2010 scenic for a while now.
Basically the car wont unlock the drivers door first time, normally you have to click the unlock button about 3 times for it to work. When it finally unlocks you can hear a different noise that sounds like something finally moving if that makes sense.
She took it to the garage today and was told water had got inside the mechanism and it needed a new one at a cost of £260.
I was wondering how much it would be for the part and how difficult is it to fit? My brother in law is an electrition by trade and knows his way round cars. Any advice on where to get the part? Have seen a lot of used ones on ebay but none seem to be for 2010.
Car in question is 2010 1.5dci Dynamique TomTom
Many Thanks

I'm having the same issue and am interested to know if you've found the cause since?
