2004 Clio dCi 80 - Injector 3 no live signal.

Hello,

I'm having a great deal of trouble fixing engine running issues on my 63k mile Clio 80 dCi Dynamique. Thus far I have replaced:

Fuel tank
Fuel pump
Fuel filter
All four injectors from known working dCi 80 (including copper seals)
All four coils

The car starts, runs and doesn't produce smoke. However, the current problem is the dreaded 3 warning lights still appear upon acceleration and the vehicle misfires, the engine is also a little shaky on idle.

I've delved into the electrics and discovered that injector 3 (third along the row from the timing belt) is apparently "not receiving a live signal from the ecu" according to the auto electrician. He has checked the signal from the ecu end to the injector and it doesn't have any breaks along the wire. He's erring towards a faulty ECU.

I'm a little skeptical as I have never known an ECU to arbitrarily refuse signalling a lone injector in this manner. I'm worried about the possibility that the current problem is a symptom of an as yet undiscovered issue? Suggestions will be much appreciated, perhaps something the auto electrician has missed?
