Is it just me....
My car refuelling philosophy has always been deep-cycle, mostly because I dislike the ritual and time wasted at fuel stops. This means I fill the tank to 100% and run it to well under 1/4 tank before recharging. I am now convinced that the engine runs more smoothly and responds better with a full tank than with an almost empty one. I offer no scientific evidence other than a driver's instinct and a possible explanation that a full tank is less likely to "froth" than an empty one. Can this be the only reason?
Or is it just me
