Grand scenic 2005 Petrol flap

Well car went for retest monday and passed mot

but the monkey were heavy handed and broke petrol flap hinge - unknown to me.... until i went to put petrol in

now I cant 100% prove they did it, so will have to fix myself.

the solenoid and rod are ok , the coloured door is ok, i'm guessing the top hinge pin/knob/lug has broken or its fixing as whole flap flops down once open.

so am I correct in thinking undo /withdraw rod / solenoid from inside boot area via a access or trim removal and then the 3 screws inside flap filler neck area and it will come out?

also how easy is it to remove coloured door from hinge as it seems a lot of coloured flaps fall off due to broken clips.
