Is the battery red light coming on when start button is pressed,
[clutch or brake pedal not pressed and forced after ignition] then started it goes out, then suspect battery
Normally if a battery fails it's worth investing in a new one, most of the time it will recharge, [ but wont properly hold the charge] but then tend to let you down when most needed ,
