My car is in limp mode ESP light / electrical fault light (heart beat). it has been cleared a few times and car runs ok.
But it keeps coming back, I have been told its a internal ecu fault, and that its intermittent.
Drove car back home in limp mode, and noticed that water is on the connections it looks like water is leaking past the rubber seals when the bonnet is closed on both sides as shown. far right plugs and surround looks really wet!
If it is water that's causing the issue (short?) what would you recommend I try?
could water get into the ecu and damage inside or is the issue with the plugs?
advice and drying out please
