Hi all, I'm new here, so please be gentle with me, I bruise easily! My problem is thus, my sons mk1 1.2 rt Clio headlights have packed up, great at this time year! He was driving down a dark lane, so he put on the full beams, he said the lights went dim, then his headlights went out, I'm no auto electrician, but I've checked the fuses, both ok, the bulbs, both ok, the earth, that's ok, so I changed the stalk, still no joy, he's got sidelights and main beam, but no dipped headlights, can anyone "shine a light" on the puzzling problem please?
