Trafic non starter imobilised

Hi there new to this site. Iv got a problem with my 54 plate trafic 2.5dci imobiliser and stop light stayin on no glow plug light on ignition had a launch fault coder on it. Ghe fault code came up with intermitent CAN-BUS NO COMUINICATION WITH ECM does that mean there coud be a break in the loom at the ecu where it 90degrees bends up to it? Sumones help on this problem would be appreciated please
