Fitting a Sony aftermarket stereo to Grand Scenic 2004

Hi, this is my first post - I've got my Grand Scenic recently and have been trying to replace default CD player with a Sony MEX-N4000BT.

I've purchased CTSRN003 off from eBay but am struggling to make a wheel controller work. My Grand Scenic doesn't have any stereo/radio infor on dashboard.

Original CD player does have a blue and yellow connector which I thought one of them might be connected to the wheel controller, but this CTSRN003 doesn't have any socket for either of them, I ended up just using Sony patch and cable that didn't do anything.

I can play with full control from facia but nothing can be done from the wheel controller. Then I realised CTSRN004 has got a yellow socket which I thought might work with the wheel controller. However Scenic isn't listed as a compatible car for CTSRN004.

Has anyone managed to make the wheel controller work for Grand Scenic 2004? Any advice would be appreciated.....thank you!
