2001 Clio 1.2. Start the car from cold and all is well, it revs and sounds really sweet. Leave it idling until it warms up and then press the throttle and the engine dies. It then wont start until its been left for about 5 minutes after which time it'll only idle, pressing the throttle kills the engine again.
When the problem first started we had a fault code P2135 (Throttle position sensor). I changed the throttle barrel which appears to have dealt with the fault code but not the running issue.
All the pipes and wires are on. Air filter is clean and taking the fuel feed off and cranking the engine results in a healthy flow of fuel.
Only other things to mention is that there's a bit of creaming under the oil cap but its been like that for as far as anyone can remember, there's no overheating and not backpressure to suggest a head gasket failure.
Any help and advice would be appreciated.
