1.9dci scenic mk2 turbo removal

Spend ages stripping enough bits off the car just to get at the turbo, eventually detached it from the engine, now I just can't find a way to jiggle it out from behind. The only route I can think of is to remove the cat and maybe drop it down under but the bolts are seized solid. Any help or advice would be much appreciated!
