Recently the lights on the dashboard keep going our & then coming back on a few hours later.
When this happens, the speedometer, the fuel gauge & the rev counter all drops down to zero & the little box that tells you what gear you’re in also blacks out.
When it happens I can’t tell what gear the car is in or how fast I am going. All the other electrics on the inside of the car work absolutely fine e.g the radio lights etc.
Apart from that, the car works fine, the only other thing I have noticed is since the light started going out, when the car is in auto, when I stop the car, it drops out of auto.
Does anyone know if this is likely to be an electrical problem behind the dashboard? Any help would be appreciated,
