air compressor reed valve

Seaching on the net it seems everyone is looking for them a part that no one wants to sell them
one guy made his own but evan then its hard to find the thin sprung steel needed
looking on the net(ebay)you will find lots of not very old compressors for sale for just £20 as they have this problem
so anyone in the know of where to get the parts or the steel
if I can find the steel I could do a how to on the simple repair

I just had a go with a piece cut from a scrapper but evan that did not work as it was too thick
