Grand Scenic Locked with dead battery

Help... I've just removed the battery from the car to charge it up, and also made sure I've locked the car, the only problem is I don't have the emergency key!

Without calling out the AA, is there a way to open the bonnet? without damaging it?

I used to have a laguna mk1 and you could get to the cables from under the car, I've not looked yet as its been a rubbish day, and thats a job for tomorrow.
