Clio Mk3 1.4 16v Cutting Out

Hi

I am newbie when it comes to cars and i have recently purchased a Renault Clio Mk3 2007 1.4 16V Petrol. Am i getting very frustrated with the daily issue of loss of engine power, here is the scenario: Start the engine on a Freezing cold morning > Idles at 900 RPM > pull out of car park and pull upto T junction (Within 5 minutes of starting car) > Clutch down and into first, hold clutch down as I'm at the end of the road > Revs starts to plummet below 400RPM > Revs drop to 0RPM and engine cuts out within the space of about 3 seconds when coming to a stop.

This happens almost every morning and evening after work and its becoming quite annoying. I am no mechanic myself hence why I'm seeking help from you Renault experts.

id really appreciate any help and guidance on this nightmare problem.
