Scenic mk1 ph2 1.9 dci fuel filter change

Hi, was looking to change fuel filter soon as its 60k old.

Haynes states to prime fuel system after changing, but my car doesn't have one.

The filter is a sealed canister and the pipes are colour coded on the unions.

I'm worried that if I change the filter I won't be able to start the car again.

Can anyone advise on this or can anyone provide the steps I need to take?

Cheers

Jim
