used zenon headlight unit

So, my lag 2 2005 facelift has finally been french and let me down..its failed on a headlight dipped bulb.

Easy option is ebay and a used unit, around 40 quid, however will it have the ballast etc in the unit? it says its a working unit...seems an awful lot of money to buy the parts separate and my mechanic wont touch the high voltage circuits involved...

Auto leccy wants 100 english pounds just to open the bonnet..

If i can just bolt on a unit, happy days...thanks in advance.
