2006 Clio Problem With Auto Lights/wipers and more.

Just had a very quick look at a 2006/56 Clio 1.4 Privilege. It's a new shape model and looks very smart in met black. It's cheap at £1495 with 69k (and mot history to back this up)
The reason its so cheap is it has electrical issues.
It starts up and runs lovely, its a push button starter. All the doors unlocked when I touched the handle, the problem is the auto lights, auto wipers and boot (elec release) do not work.(possibly more but I was pushed for time)
Is this something anyone's come across before?
It's for sale at a fast fit tyre place and when I asked if they knew what the problem might be they said they hadn't looked at it as the aren't auto electricians. Surely it couldn't just be a fuse, they can't be that dense???
I'm going back in a few hours for a better look and it would be handy if someone could give me a couple of pointers on where to look.
