Best vs worst vs weird cars you have owned?

Mmmmm

Worst, without a shadow of a doubt was my first car.
Mk1 Cortina 1500..... major problem being 10 years old and a nail.
Spent two years replacing or rebuilding parts on it to get a decent motor, sold for more then I paid (significantly) and learnt so much from working on it.

Best, couple of minis (classic)...one was a 1000cc second got a 1300 engine inside.... could do anything with them, virtually rebuild one in a day and in need, two of you could pick it up and put it back on road
Second best, 1275 MG Midget Mk111 (I think) loved it.

Wierdest (for me) XJ6..... mid twenties, it came up at right price and seemed like a good idea. Went from sporty boy racer cars to a big luxury saloon. But as a single guy it did have advantages

Love of my driving life.... Mk1A (facelift) 3ltre Capri. 4 speed manual box.
Swapped engines twice (bought with a blown lump and a rebuilt spare.... rebuilt was naff, shattered rings in 5K so got a 3.0 out of a granddad and rebuild properly... bored, ported, hi lifts, oversize carb etc)
Wrote it off twice, rebuilt first time, scrapped second.
Upgraded suspension and brakes, mainly off a 2.8 injection.
Loved it, looked a nail, would blowaway boy racers in XR3Is or Golf GTis with ease, V6 burble and roar, donuts on demand. Knew virtually every nut and bolt by name.
5 years of fun.

Mundane otherwise...run of the mill saloons, company cars etc.
