Scenic 1 window controller.
Hi. My 02 Scenic has been very reliable. Recently my drivers front window has been acting crazy. A google search brought me to this site, where I see that this is a known problem with the temic module on Scenic II.
But my car is a Scenic 1.
I dismantled the door just to be sure. And sure enough, there is no temic module attatched to the motor.
Cables and everything look to be perfect, and the window moves smoothly.

Cables and everything look to be perfect, and the window moves smoothly.
The problem is, the window won't stay up. If I try to close the window, it goes smoothly to the top, then automatically winds down to fully open. Even if I keep the button in up position.
The only way I can close it is to pull the fuse just as the window gets to the top.
If I wait a few minutes and put back in the fuse, it stays up. But of course if I try to use the window the fault remains.
Since there is no temic module I'm wondering what controls the window and its positioning.
