Typically my 1.9 Dci Megane packed in about 6 foot short of the end, the electrics seemed to go haywire and the car just refused to start. after pushing it out of the 4-5 inches of water to the side of the road and several more attempts I got the engine to turn over but it refused to accelerate and stalled again if I tried.
After leaving it for about half an hour I got the engine started and was able to get it home, performance did seem to improve the longer it was driven.
However I've got the warning spanner on the dash and the "check anti pollution system" error message, I turned the engine over a couple of hours after getting home and it starts OK but still have the error message.
Question really is: will it rectify itself when it "dries out" or should I get it looked at, is driving it further going to cause potential damage?
