Laguna 2 1.9dci - Bloody clutch vibration!

Hi all,

I've done a lot of work to try and get a smooth clutch on this car - I have installed a brand new LUK dual-mass flywheel as well as full clutch kit. I have also replaced the bottom engine mount and half the top engine mount (see image). Left and right mounts look okay and I have taken them out so would see obvious damage.

It's a lot better than it was before the work but it still ain't all that smooth. I can drive ti just fine but after all the work I want it right! My old Pug 306 is much smoother and that doesn't even have a DMF (although it is lighter).

Is there anything else that can be responsible for a rough clutch action other than the clutch itself and the top / bottom engine mounts?

Perhaps this is just the way these cars are? Really it feels like the engine has no torque low down so I need to lift the revs to about 1.2K to pull away smoothly and the revs drop easily under load.

I'm thinking maybe the bottom engine mount from eBay is not quite right and I should get one from Renault.
