2003 Megane 1.6 - Cannot Open boot & car won't lock

Hi,

My 2003 Megane 1.6 16v VVT won't lock. When I pull away the courtesy lights stay on, and every time I pull away from stationary, the central locking activates.

Also, I cannot open the boot. However the dashboard displays "Boot Open". Does this sound like a UPC problem? Possible water ingress maybe? I should also point out that the middle button on the remote does nothing, when it should unlock the boot.
