Immobilizer sensor location Megane I Coupe

I may have mis-read but assuming a normal key system, the immobiliser sensor is part of the steering lock assembly.
On a card system with reader, in the reader.
On a remote, keyless entry type, not sure.

Do you mean the remote lock/unlock sensor ?
