Trafic drivers door lock, Help !!

Help,the front door lock on my van has jammed shut. Got the door panel off to look at the mechanism. Disconnected all the connecting rods and tried to manually move the arms on the lock,still won't open.Any ideas please , please don't say a crow bar !!!! Thanx
