Last week my mums scenic clutch failed whilst waiting at traffic lights (hydraulic fault), due to it being cold whilst waiting for recovery the vehicle was running fine, the recovery driver then drove it onto the flat bed and it cut out halfway up the ramp.....there was no dash lights, head lights power to ignition etc. I then got a guy out to look at the electrical fault, he put a battery pack on the vehicle and everything came to life.....conclusion the battery had failed. Today I replaced the battery went to start the vehicle but nothing except for the alarm and hazard lights going off. The guy who came out checked the fuses on the battery terminal as well they tested ok.
Is there anyone that could give me some idea of where to look or what the problem could be please?
