Two wheel nut sizes, normally used, one uses a 17mm socket, but the early ones also used a 19mm socket,, could be a simple reason, one some one lost a wheel nut, ( laughing thinking about a joke ) two, it had locking wheel nuts on, the key to the locking wheel nut got lost, and the nuts had to be taken off,
