Battery charging fault while driving

Hi, I would like to ask for your help, I got a Renault Megane 3 grandtourer estate yom 2009 facelift model/fluance and recently I had a battery charging fault warning light while driving and lasted for quite a few kms than I stopped at a side and checked if anything came loose but everything was OK and revved it up a few times and the warning stopped . I checked other forums and websites for possible cause to this fault and everything is pointing that its the alternator but I don't want...
