Poor manufacturing design..

It's a shame they dont always get it right.. not going to mention cars but they dont see to be getting it right either.. recently bought on ebay a new set of taps for my kitchen .. I won and auction for them which to me felt rather daunting ..I seriously looked at easy fit but glad I did buy them and this is the reason why..

I have started this thread on part 2 because you can get the jist of part one and much is repeated.. there is a part 3 if you wish to carry on and see what solution...
