Plip Key problem

Clio lll 2006. My keys will start the car, open the car doors, but will not lock the car. I have to lock the car from inside by holding in the lock button on the dash until it clicks once, then the drivers side will lock when closed. When I try to the lock the car with the key - it clicks twice, it seems to lock, then open again.

Any help would be appreciated.
