1.5 dci not starting after diesil leak

hello,
my wife was out in the car the other day when she rang me saying , the dash is telling her to stop.
when she stopped the car cut out & wouldnt start.
i walked up to have a look & before i got there i could see a pool of diesil.
the leak was coming from the fuel pressure sensor, more of a torrent than a leak.
removed sensor checked it all & put it back in, leak sorted.
car started on second try, ran for a few seconds & cut out.
after that just cranks, as it seems like its about to start, it stops cranking.
cracked the pipes at injectors & theres fuel there.
theres no warnings on dash.
so next i thought if i can start it on easy start it might pull the fuel through then be ok, wrong again.
it will start on easy start but the engine shakes so bad seems like its gonna fall out.
i did get it ticking over for awhile on its own but engine was still shaking & making a racket.
accelerator does nothing or makes it cut out.
any ideas?
this is my last resort before i scrap it.
its a shame i like the car & i rebuilt the engine awhile ago and even a new turbo as well.
