was running fine before the belt snapped.
I'm sure the timing is right, no.1 is near the flywheel i believe, and at TDC the valves are closed the piston then goes down for the power stroke then the exhaust valve opens, no?
it has a weak spark on 1+4 and an even weaker spark on 2+3, however it was sparking fine several hours before and all i have done is removed and refitted the engine mount, the fuel pump also docent prime or run when cranking, however after i supplied 12v to the pump for a bit to check if it worked, it did, it started to prime, but has stopped again now also after removing and refitting the mount, each cylinder has plenty of compression.
this has got me pretty stumped, I'm thinking a faulty earth, but there is continuity through out the block and engine bay
another note when checking for continuity between -ve and the top of the spark plugs when fitted there was none...
has anyone got any advice, all is much appreciated
