Clio MK2 PH2 Immobiliser problem

Good evening,

so I am having yet another problem with my clio and its refusual to start. Tody while it was nice, I decided to bring the MINI back from the dead and so needed to charge the battery which had gone dead over the winter. I thought I would jump the car but my leads wouldn't reach due to how the car had been parked in the drive so I removed the battery from the mini and connected it to the teminals of the clios and started the car(not sure if this is entirely recommended), 20 minutes later I removed the jumper leads and left the clio for another 5 minute to run then I cut the engine. About 5 minutes later when I tried to start the car again, the battery was completly flat and didn't even attempt to turn over. So I got my dad to then give me a jump and it all seemed fine. A few hours later when I went to the clio and once again the battery had drained, but not so much, and the immobiliser light was on solid! After half an hour of trying all sorts of combinations of tricks online to try and bypass the immobiliser and gave up without getting the immobilser to deactivate or the car to start and the battery had still not charged back up to turn over the engine for more than 1 or 2 seconds. I then tried again a couple hours again, this time I switched round a few relays in the engine bay fuse box as suggested by a few online and it started two times in succession! Again, not long later when I went to start the car, the immobiliser light was on and the battery was flat! After another half an hour of turning the ignition on and off again the light went out only 2 more times but both times the engine would not turn over for more than 1 or 2 seconds, which was not long enough for it to start! By this time I was too annoyed to try again. So now I am turning to you guys for some guidance on why the car is behaving this way as I am terribly confused. Any and all help will be greatly appriciated.
