Climate control no hot air

Those fittings, the ones in the third pic, circled in green, look to me like push fits.... the rectangular block (is there one on other side) push in and the thing pulls off ?
May be wrong so don't get too carried away.

Is this the only reason you want to flush the system?
If so, may I suggest that there may be other reasons.
Is the temperature gauge getting up to temp?

Thermostat jammed?
If you start from cold, the top hose to radiator should stay cold until the engine is up to temperature, only getting hot when the stat opens.
Getting hot early is a good sign that the stat has failed and will reduce running temperature, affecting the heater

Blockage or air lock in heater rad.... those two hoses should progressively get hot as the engine warms up.
Are they?
Both of them?

Any sign of coolant loss?
Maybe air has got in system and needs bleeding?
Bleed screw on thermostat housing.

When was pollen filter changed?
A blocked filter will reduce hot air even if coolant system perfect.
