Help! Can’t get the rocker cover off 2004 2L grand scenic

Ok, I have researched and looked but simply cant find the answer. How do I get the rocker cover off?
removed everything I can see, all 24 bolts, etc. It simply won’t lift off from the timing belt end.
it’s loose everywhere else, gapped aground the seal but seem completely stuck on the belt end.
in have not removed the timing belt. It is in some way held in place with the pulley?
all demo videos use the 1.6 is the 2L significantly different?
reason for the removal, the 4 spark plug was...
