Water leak Clio - not the usual sunroof

Hi,

iv a 5 door clio 04 reg, and its like a sieve, the water comes in at the top of the A-pilars, i thought this was from the sunroof so having taken all that out and siliconing it back in i thought would solve the issue.

Well no..

The drains are also clear...
and no its not the scuttle panel as ive equally spent a weekend dismantling that and putting it back together to no avail

So after getting someone to pour water onto the car various points it is the roof gutter / seal, there is a small cut out in the metal at the top of the a pillar and it drips down there into the lower door seal which then runs on the inside of the seal onto the headlining and down into the floors.

anyone know any ideas to fix this? i've looked for seals online but all i can find is second hand ones, which look in worse condition than the ones i have fitted already, i can't find new ones anywhere, should i just silicone the s*** out of it?

i am sick of the car stinking like a nomadic diseased 3 legged cat with half its fur missing covered in stale yoghurt and horse crap to the point i want to sell it after a generous dousing of fabreeze.

if anyone else has had this problem please let me know how you solved it,
