Renault Megane Mk3 09

Hey Guys.
New too this site so hey! Hope you can help me.

My ever trusty Megane Mk3 59 plate has recently (well about now I'd say) is showing the Air Bag light on the dash along with the spanner. Prior to this appearing I had the car serviced a month just before Christmas and had the Service light switched off and reset. Being a serious Carp & Sea Angler the car seats are constantly being adjusted and folded etc. Once I came back from a recent trip the next day just driving on the duel carageway the light appeared. I took the car to my good friend who plunged the car in and done a few checks, got rid of all the old error codes etc. But it was flagging up with the drivers side impact sensor. New part ordered and replaced. But this was not the problem, the dam light is still showing. Iv read on so many other forums that it could be this or that etc but I really don't kno were to start. Not tinkerd around with a car since I was a kid and certainly not one so dam complicated with plugs etc. We're is the best place to start and eliminate the possibilities.
