Mk1 Scenic - Bang from the back?

I live by speed bumps and I go over them no issues at all (although it seems the front suspension bottoms out even when going over them really slow?) and I don't get this noise. Sometimes if there is a drain on the road that isn't flush it can do it but yesterday I encountered not a speed bump but more of a mountain!

I know its a big one so I slowed right down to a crawl. Front suspension felt vague and not brilliant but coming off it there was a bang from the back? Not a knock, more of a bang, fairly loud?

I've read about broke suspension dampers but mine drives fine, doesn't pull to one side and goes over 'normal' speed bumps with no issues or noises?
