Laguna MKii digital speedo not working properly.

Hi friends, I have laguna 1.9dci and last couple of days my digital speedometer hasn't been working properly, my speedometer clock is reading correctly. Everything else on the dash is showing accurate readings for fuel used, miles done and miles left are all good, apart from the digital speedo. I have done a dial test where you hold the button in and release it when you put the ignition card in, the test worked correctly but I still have the same problem. Any help or advice on what is causing this issue and is there a fix? Thanks friends of the Renault forum.
