Judder when pulling away - Megane EDC

Hi, I have a Megane 1.5 dci EDC which has only done 4715 miles. When slowing down and the speed reaches about 8-10 mph and still in second gear, say at a roundabout, when you start to accelerate again there is a slight judder which disappears in a couple of seconds. The car behaves normally at any other speed or gear change.
I also noticed that it judders a bit if you accelerate in reverse. I know that the same clutch is used for 2nd and reverse so I suspected the dual clutch.

I took it to a Renault dealer who replicated the fault but told me it was a 'feature' of this engine/gearbox and it does it on other cars having the same engine/gearbox combination.

Does this sound right? Or are they trying to avoid a costly repair under warranty?
