Faulty Door Open / Tyre Pressure Display

Hi,

I have a 2004 1.9DCi Renault Megane which I have had from new.

It has recently developed a fault on the door open / tyre pressure display in that the front wheels seem to disappear intermittently, sometimes they are there, sometimes only one is there and sometimes neither are there.

Firstly let me say I have no idea if the car even has tyre pressure sensors fitted to the wheels, I'm inclined to think not, is there an easy way to tell?

Assuming the wheels don't have tyre pressure sensors, could it just be a faulty display in which case is it an easy fix or is there a way I can just disable it so they are all solid again?
