2004 scenic Heater resistor

Hi all,

I have pulled off the facia surrounding the digital dash, managed to get the screw out of the resistor (now my arm is sore and scratched) pulled the resistor out of it slot. now how the hell do I get it to come out of the dash hole as it has 2 wires a black and a red which go to the back of the blower motor and are very short

Currently in craigscenicdci's garage:
