To me, if easy start/WD/whatever kicks a motor into life and it then runs okay, unlikely to be injectors or HP side of pump.
A leak test will tell and is far cheaper then replacing on a guess.

Is the issue only hard starting?
Does it run okay once started?
Any smoke, loss of power, flat spots?
Is the hard starting only after standing a while?
Or every time?
Did mechanic check filter and pump for any signs of wear/damage/metallic particles?
Has a diagnostic been done and any error codes?
